We're proud to announce that PR.co is now ISO 27001 certified, giving customers independently audited proof of the security practices we've followed for years.
PR.co recently earned ISO/IEC 27001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management.
While the certification is new, the way we work isn't. Keeping our customer's data secure has always been an important part of how we build and operate PR.co. What has changed is that an independent organisation, Brand Compliance, has now audited those practices and officially certified that we meet the standard.
As our platform grows and more organisations rely on us to manage their communications, we've continued to invest in the systems, processes, and security controls needed to keep that data protected. Achieving ISO 27001 certification is an important milestone in our journey. It reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining a robust information security management system and gives our customers another way to understand the measures we have in place to protect their information.
We didn’t pursue ISO 27001 for another badge on our website. We did it because the way enterprise software is bought has changed, and because the companies we work with expect independent proof that their data is safe. If you’re already a PR.co customer, not much changes. If you’re evaluating us as a partner, the difference is that your procurement, legal and security teams no longer have to rely on our word alone.Jeroen Bos, CEO of PR.co
ISO 27001 isn't a one-time assessment. The certification requires ongoing oversight, including annual surveillance audits, to verify that we continue to meet the standard and maintain our information security management system. Alongside these audits, we'll continue reviewing our risks, testing our systems and improving our security practices.
We've also launched a new Security & Compliance page where you can learn more about our approach to security, access our ISO certificate and other documentation.
