pr.co launches an online PR academy for startups and small businesses

Amsterdam, 10 May 2023 - pr.co launches online learning platform Pioneer Academy. The newsroom company brings online courses for founders, marketers, and business professionals to the market following an acquisition earlier this year. Answering the increasing demand for in-house PR knowledge amongst startups facing the funding winter, pr.co launches the platform globally, aiming to help founders, marketers, and PR pros get media coverage without costly outsourced partners.

Amid a global recession and funding winter, PR software company pr.co, notices an increasing number of startups are looking to reduce costs by bringing their PR and marketing efforts in-house. Many startups, however, lack PR skills within their team. To help startups and SMBs successfully roll out PR strategies in-house, pr.co today launches online PR learning platform, Pioneer Academy.

Pioneer Academy offers practical video courses covering various branches of PR, developed with PR experts with strong track records at startups. Its first three courses cover PR, media training, and crisis communications. pr.co plans to launch new courses biweekly in the next three months, covering startup-specific topics, including how to launch products, acquire funding, and leverage AI in PR.

Over the last year, we have received growing interest from startups and small businesses looking to build their brand. Challenging times force startups to look for cost-effective ways to build awareness around their business. Pioneer Academy enables them to successfully reach their audience, whilst at the same time invest in their employees' development. Sjors Mahler, commercial director @ pr.co
